 Sturdy product Oct 26, 2009
The jack was simple to install on my small camp trailer. It definitely appears to be sturdy enough for the job. I expect that it will significantly ease hook-up and set up of the trailer by providing a wheel for maneuvering the trailer when not attached to the vehicle. There will also be a lot less cranking involved. The weight is significant, which may be the only down-side. I considered it a very good deal, particularly with free, prompt shipping.

I bought a trailer kit about 12 or so years ago. ALL this while I've not had one of these jacks. I purchased this exact same model (Reese 74410) from somewhere other than Amazon but it cost me more $$$. My trailer arm was not square, I have a flange that makes the bottom about 2 inches wider than the top but I simply cut a treated 6x6 down to size (roughly 2.5" by 5") and slipped it under the upper mounting bolts. Works perfect. Why didn't I install one of these 12 years ago!!!

Jack is very good quality for the price and was easy to install. Jacks works great. Shipment was received quickly and with very good packaging.

It's an OK jack, pretty much like all the rest of them. But had I known it was made in China, I would have kept shopping for a American made product. I figured Reese, being an American Manufacturer, would be a safe bet for a non-import. Like I said, an OK product, but I was disappointed in it's manufacture origin.

Very easy to install, works great, makes hook ups so much easier, took about 10 minutes to attach.
