I bought this grill based on the great reviews I had read. I wanted two things in my new grill..a timer so I wouldn't burn the house down and removable grills. The timer is hard to find on a grill. It is so nice because I put my chicken or salmon in the grill in the morning before work, take a shower, come back and its done and turned off..you can't beat it..wrap it up and take it to work. I have the best looking lunches in the place...grilled peppers, onions, mushrooms, potatoes, chicken burgers. You won't be disappointed with this grill. I love it and use it every day..no more dirty pans.

I like it, I really like it! I've been using George's grill for years and it was fine but I always hated cleaning the darn thing. With the HB just take the plates out and toss them in the sink full of soapy water. Simple. The grill doesn't cook anywhere near as fast as the George Foreman and is a little slow to get up to speed but I'm not in THAT big of a hurry to eat. It works fine. Its well built. The drip tray design is much better. On a scale of one to ten I'd have to give it an eight. Hope this helps.

This grill is even better than the one I had previously because it's a little bigger but not any heavier, and the plates still are dishwasher safe. The cord keeper is a nice feature the smaller one didn't have also. My only complaint is that eventually, no matter how careful you are with the plates, the non-stick finish wears off and it would be nice to replace just the plates and not the entire grill!!

I have bought these hamilton beach meal makers before.I 'v had this one for a while now.It huge!!!! I mean you can put lots of food on it at the same time. Chicken , steak, hamburgers and hots dogs. and that hasnt even been opened up. One the other side you can grill your veggies and have everything ready at the same time. THIS IS THE LARGEST ONE THAT HAMILTON BEACH MAKES. I'v had the small one they are pefect for school or for 2 people.But i love my big grill.

My mom gave me this grill when I moved into my old place close to ten years ago. It still works perfectly and we use it almost daily. I accidentally scraped some of the nonstick coating off by using a scouring pad (so don't do that). Now I add a little squirt of cooking spray to prevent sticking and it still works like new.
The removable plates make cleaning so much easier!
We are a two-person family and I can easily cook an entire meal and have it from refrigerator/freezer to table in less than fifteen minutes. Huge plus on busy work nights.
