Makes mowing a snap Oct 21, 2009 Until recently I had been living in a condo for many years and never really thought about the best way to maintain a lawn. About two years ago I bought a house and decided to do most of the gardening chores myself. The Black & Decker MM675 lawn hog makes mowing the lawn a snap. And the electric "lawn hog" requires very little maintenance itself, unlike a gasoline mower. So far I have had no problems with it.
Satisfied Customer Oct 15, 2009 This is the first time I've used an electric mower; and, I'm very happy with it. The only feature it could have that would make it better would be if it were self-propelled.
Another comment is that I ordered the mower from Amazon.com on Monday (late afternoon) and it was delivered on Thursday (early afternoon). I got the best price in town on the mower and excellent delivery time.
Elecric mowers how can you beat them? Oct 01, 2009 I have been using electric mowers for 20+ years all Black & Decker products. For a small yard you can not beat them, they work all the time, no gasoline cans, no oil changes, no maintence of the air filter or spark plug. Just get out the extension cord and mow. They are light weight, easy to use, lawn mowing can not get simpler.
Good electric mower Sep 30, 2009 This is a nice electric mower with enough oomph to handle a thick Bermuda grass lawn. I am a long time electric mower user. My last mower was a 20" Sears that finally bit the dust after 20+ years. I have a nice 12 gauge, 100' extension cord - a must for any electric mower. The flip over handle works well. I wouldn't have an electric mower without one! Height adjustment is easy. Bottom deck stays clean even when grass is damp. Mower is nicely quiet and doesn't vibrate much. Muchling feature works well. Separate side discharge goes on easy and works well, although I almost always mow without it. When I do - if the grass has gone a couple weeks w/o mowing - I flop the cord over to the other side and have it discharge into the un-mowed grass, though.
If you have 5000 sq ft of lawn or so, you should have an electric mower! It costs less that 10 cents in electricity to mow my lawn, it starts first time, every time, and needs almost zero maintenance.
Great Mower Sep 08, 2009 It's a wonderful product. Not polluting was my main reason for this purchase and I feel great about it. The flip handle on this particular model was why I chose it over the others and it has worked out just as I supposed. I'm mowing on a hill and the flip handle makes it so much easier and safer.
