Not so good Oct 25, 2009 I purchased this 3 years ago. It was a bear to assemble, and awkward to use. Actually, I haven't used it this year. It is actually easier to cut excess clippings a second time, than to sweep them up.
just what I needed Nov 30, 2008 This is a good product for the money. Just follow the directions slowly when putting it together and you will be fine. Sweeps up leaves just fine and is easy to dump while sitting on the mower.

Agri-Fab Sweeper disappoints Jun 07, 2008 I just purhased this new sweeper to replace the Agri-Fab sweeper that I had purchased back in 1999. The 1999 unit was great in a lot of respects. It lasted almost nine seasons. It did a superb job sweeping the lawn. Who knows if it would have lasted longer if I hadn't started to use it as a lawn trailer to haul debris. So, when the old unit finally broke down, I did not hesitate to buy a new Agri-Fab unit to replace it. As one positive, the new unit is far easier to assemble than the old one as promoted on the box. During assembly of the new unit, many significant design changes were seen that simplified assembly. Assembly took about an hour and a half. The old one took about twice that, mainly due to the difficulty of fitting the bag onto the mostly assembled bag frame of that former model. Some of these changes for the new model might be questionable as to how long they might last in the field. An example are the two plastic pins used to hold tubes of the bag frame together. These are a soft plastic that likely will be under shear. How long can they last under the stress of a full hopper? If these pins were to break, short quarter inch bolts with a lock nut ought to hold things together nicely as an easy repair. Perhaps keep some handy. However, I can't comment on the durability, as I don't plan on using this unit again . To what purpose? It does a terrible job sweeping at any setting I've tried. Whereas the old unit picked up grass, twigs, leaves, etc. pretty comprehensively in a single pass, this new unit leaves a significant amount of debris on the ground at any setting. You do a pass, look behind you and it looks like you accomplished nothing. Multiple passes do not work, and who has time for that anyway? Too bad, because I really liked the performance of the old sweeper. Frustrating overall, because I can't find my receipt to return it. The new unit is a disappointment.

A great sweeper at a good price May 05, 2008 Construction quality appears to be very good. It was easy to assemble using instructions provided - only some minor confusion on what goes where and how it is supposed to operate. Replacement parts readily available from manufacturer. Customer support from manufacturer was prompt and courteous. First time use was a total success. A big plus - it is NOT manufactured in China and keeps the jobs in North America.
