Finally, no more pumping up the wheelbarrow tire! May 29, 2009 I do not know why regular pneumatic wheelbarrow tires are so bad about losing air. I do know that this tire solved the problem once and for all. No more having to drag the pump out to get the wheelbarrow ready for use!
It comes pre-greased and ready to install. Talk about free-wheeling--I gave it a spin and it didn't stop for a couple of minutes. It's nice to know that wheel drag isn't adding to the load when you're pushing a heavy wheelbarrow around.
I was a little worried it wouldn't fit my vintage Tru-Temper wheelbarrow, but it fit right on the axle like a charm.
Now if I can only find flat free tires for all our other yard gear!

Worth the extra money Apr 02, 2009 These rubber tires are well worth the premium over regular air tires. I changed over two wheelbarrows to solid core wheels. I will not ever replace another air tire with anything other than these solid core tires if the size is available. I will enjoy these wheels for a lifetime as long as they are kept out of the weather. Plus they shipped super quick with a variety of bushings to fit different situations. Please step up to solid rubber and avoid having to air up your tires before every use.

Exactly What Was Needed. Aug 08, 2007 The perfect replacement for my inflatable, wheelbarrow tire. The Marathon Industries tire, is flat-free, and includes the entire wheel. It is better than the original wheel.
