A Great Starter Knife Aug 08, 2008 I bought this knife as a present for my son who cooks for entertainment. I own a lot of knives, including several Chicago Cutlery Cooks knives that have served me well for many years. This one has a Stainless Steel handle that fits a large hand well. I don't know if it is dishwasher safe, but the company recommends hand washing the High Carbon Steel. This knife represent value, Quality at a reasonable cost with a Lifetime
Guarantee.

A great knife for beginners.... May 11, 2008 This is the first Chef knife I've ever bought. I was impressed with the quality and sharpness of it when I first tried it out. I first underestimated the sharpness of it and almost cut myself several times. Excellent for normal slicing and chopping. You'll enjoy the quality of an awesome gourment knife at a really reasonable price.

Cuts like a Knife Feb 19, 2007 This Knife is all one piece, so bending and breaking isn't an issue. It has stayed sharp quite a bit longer then other knives we own. (I found this out the hard way by cutting myself)
I definitely recommend this high quality knife which seems to be more reasonably priced then many of the competing knives.
