How could I have waited so long? Feb 23, 2010 This griddle is great!! I've used it multiple times already and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. The pancakes, eggs and bacon all come out perfectly and come off the griddle easily as well. The tilt-n-drain feature is very useful for the bacon. Once you tilt it, the bacon grease automatically goes straight for the catch-all, which in itself is secure. It's large enough to make 6 smallish pancakes and to fry an entire package of bacon at once. Love it!
Good griddle for the price Feb 10, 2010 This griddle seems to heat up more evenly than the others I have bought and tried. Yes, there are some spots toward the center that do not get as hot as others, but I have found all griddles have hot and cold spots. I have no idea if griddles that are more expensive have a differently arranged heating element to eliminate this. Overall this is a good deal. I really like that you can unplug it and put it in the dishwasher. It works great for our family of 4. I can make enough pancakes in one batch to get everybody started eating.

Tilt n Drain is annoying Jan 27, 2010 Tilt n drain makes this griddle difficult to clean; there is no place you can hold it without the tilt "wings" flopping about awkwardly. It's also too large to fit easily in many sinks, so you will have to clean it by holding it vertically and spraying water on it.
Large Electric Griddle Jan 23, 2010 We have used this for years. It works great, except the front legs adjust and tilt out to let liquid drain...but you can't stop it. It will be upright one minute and then the legs will slide out. Overall, it's a great griddle and cooks a lot of food at one time.

Great griddle Dec 23, 2009 Purchased this last Christmas. Our previous attempts to do pancakes for our family of 4 children were OK, but the small griddles and frying pans just didn't get the job done quickly enough. Most we could cook at a time were 5 in the circular Circulon electric frying pan. So we got this and it does the job. We're able to cook 8 to 12 pancakes at a time, so are able to cook the entire breakfast with just two batches.
I like the drain feature for bacon, but as other reviewers have indicated it slides into the drain position much too easily. It has never done so during cooking, so our pancakes have always turned out great. But while getting it out of the cupboard and cleaning it, those handles just pop out. Would be nice if they had provide some sort of lock or quick-release mechanism.
Also, as indicated by others, the heat is a little uneven. Pour batter in the top right corner last (next to where the heating element connects).
