 If you are considering a tow spreader...get this one! Oct 18, 2009
I debated on which spreader to buy and checked out the reviews. According to the users of this spreader, it was the best, so I purchased it. I love it. It pulls steady and the bigger wheels is surely the secret to a quality spreader. Easy to adjust and turn off and on from my lawn tractor.

This product works well and spreads nicely. The main drawback as with most of these tow behind spreaders is that they are top heavy and have a narrow wheel base. Therefore, it will flip over on you fairly easily. Especially if you have a hill.

THIS SPREADER BELIEVE OR NOT ACTUALLY WORKS WITHOUT THE NEED TO CONTINUALLY ORDER REPLACEMENT PARTS FOR THAT OTHER JUNK! 4 OUT OF 5 OF THEIR STUFF IS ALREADY AT THE LANDFILL, LAST ONE IS BEING WELDED BACK TOGETHER BY A FRIEND, MAYBE IT WILL WORK. WOULDN'T COUNT ON IT.
FRIEND OF MINE HAS A STORE & TOLD HIM TO GET RID OF THE OTHER STUFF, HE WAS VERY GLAD HE DID. THIS EARTHWAY IS PRETTY GOOD AND ACTUALLY EASY TO OPERATE, JUST DON'T USE "S_ _ _ _ _" WITH MOSS CONTROL. THAT STUFF IS LIKE CONCRETE WITH THE WATER ADDED TO IT. THE ONLY WAY IT GETS TO THE GRASS IS BY THROWING IT! THE CONTROLS ON THE EARTHWAY ARE HD AND EASY TO REACH. STAY ON # WITHOUT RESETTING ON EVERY TURN. DIDN'T BURN THE "_ _ _ _" OUT OF THE GRASS THIS YEAR! CLEANS UP REAL EASY & THESE FOLKS ARE SMART ENOUGH TO TELL YOU NOT TO POOR 3 QUARTS OF 10W40 ON AFTER YOU WASH IT! IF WE EVER HAVE MONEY AGAIN, DOUBT THAT

Good spreader and convenient to reach and manage from tractor. After much decision preparation I chose this spreader. The reviews of others pursuaded me to make this choice. When I assembled it I thought I had made a poor choice. Turns out it spreads lawn feed and lawn insect material (only products used to date) very well, and is comfortably managed while towing. A benefit of it's light weight is it is easy to shake the material in the hopper when reaching the near empty state and while one is still towing.

I bought this spreader to speed up spreading grass fertilizer, weed control on an acre of lawn. It was easy to put together and attached to my lawn tractor. The big hopper holds enough material to do both the front and back lawns at once. I was afraid the turn off handle would be too far from the tractor seat to reach but that wasn't the case at all. Easy to use, low cost solution to the spreader problem. Would recommend this model as it eavenly spreads material and was the lowest cost of any spreader I looked into.
