Apple Master Feb 28, 2010 No instructions other than the pictures on the box but I found it simple to use.
I used it on apples and overall other than the constant adjustments it did what it was
suppose to do.
Today I plan to use it to peel potatoes. The 2 mounts comes w/ the machine do the job
I expect the more I use the machine the easier my setups will become.
I would overall recommend this machine to others.

Apple Master Peeler, Corer, Slicer falls short Feb 04, 2010 Had this product since Christmas and processed about three dozen apples of various sizes with it. Or tried to process I should have said. Granted, if you are real careful and go SLOW it MIGHT do a reasonable job--depending on the apple shape and firmness. In fact, it might even be fun. On the other hand, it's often a mess. Here's why:
--The slicing/coring blade moves around all the time and has to be constantly adjusted. Had to put a rubber patch behind it to increase the friction and reduce the slipping. Also the blade edge is dull and has to be constantly sharpened (ditto the dull edges on the coring part of the blade.) Speaking of the coring part, you have to press firmly against it as it starts into the apple to keep it from bending backwards. It's pretty flimsy.
--The peeling "blade" (it's a semicircular affair) constantly jams up with peel and even when not doing so, doesn't do a very good job.
In short, whoever designed this thing must have flunked 5th grade shop (or been in 5th grade at the time!) Terrible design! (And to think we put a man on the moon--astonishing!)
I must say that the dual suction/screw type base works well, and the horrible little machine is made of nice aluminum. After that, it's all downhill. Now to look for something else (can't give up apples now can I?) Surely, there is a better design on the market.

Excelent Peeler! Jan 25, 2010 This is the second one we own, we got the first one in a thrift shop and it lasted for several years.
Last Christmas I had to help my wife peel 20 Lbs of apples, and I did it in less than an hour. I remember we she used to do it by hand...
It is a good product, I do recommend it.
Bye

Over 20 years of Apple Master Nov 25, 2009 I don't recall how long I've had my Apple Master, but it must be over 20 years. My model only screws on a table, there is no rubber mount. I make a lot of apple deserts in the fall and can pare, slice and core an apple in less than a minute. I try to use the classic Northern Spy since it taste great and is so huge that 4 or 5 will make a pie. Yes, the core is so big that some seeds may be left, but they are easily cut out. I haven't noticed the thin slice issue and like the ability to use one, two or three of the modes as needed. Incidentally, it peels so fast that microdrops of juice shoot into the air and I prefer to use it outside or cover it with a towel inside to avoid sticky floors. It rinses off in a flash and dries without rusting, but the screw threads should get a vegetable oil rub every year.
Perfect for Baby Food Nov 18, 2009 I love this product! It works great for making baby food, apple sauce, apple pie, apple cobbler, etc. It peels, cores and slices an apple in seconds! I was amazed at how well the suction base worked on my stainless steel counter top. I love the option of the clamp base for rough surfaces. Just a side note, if your apples are starting to go soft it is worthless. I tried using it to peel potatoes and it doesn't really work because they are not perfectly shaped.I would recommend this product to any apple lover.
