1Energy Hog  Nov 16, 2009
This unit keeps a full caraf and a half of water in its tank at all times. This tank has a heating element which keeps this water at 200 degrees at all times, 24-7, regardless if you want a cup of coffee or not. This tank isn't insulated.

Honestly, why would any company build something like this? It may be fine for an office situation but a private home? Certainly not mine! It's packed up and going back!

I don't care what it looks like. It could be the nicest looking coffee pot in the world and it could last forever for all I care. The wasteful use of electricity kills the machine.

5Better than best..  Nov 15, 2009
Makes the "best coffee. I had about 8 other pots, sold them all at a garage sale.

This Bunn is the Cadilac of coffee pots.

5Finally, a coffee pot worth crowing over!  Nov 12, 2009
After a Mr. Coffee that seemed to take forever to brew, and TWO Cuisinarts that both failed within 2 weeks of purchase, I finally invested in a Bunn with the thermal carafe. It was weird at first.. figuring out that closing the water reservoir lid started the brew process, but once we got that figured out, it was magic. AND ITS FAST!!! The coffee is smooth and rich and I used the 2 TBS per cup measure since I like mine strong. Great cup of coffee and worth every penny. BTW, I just got mine for $99.00 at Kohl's. Check the stores for great buys around the holidays!

5Bunn Thermo Fresh Coffee Maker  Oct 27, 2009
This is my third Bunn Coffee maker purchase in many years. I wanted the improved insulated carafe and it is much lighter then the older model. It keeps coffee fresh for a few hours. It makes a pot of great tasting coffee in 3 minutes. I am a coffee snob and love columbian coffee that is hot, fresh and ready fast. Most of my Bunns lasted 7 to 10 years and my son is still using my last one. They are expensive upfront but given the long life and consistant great tasting coffee it is worth every penny to me. Also they are quiet and do not make obnoxious sucking noises while brewing like non spray head pots.

5Top of the line in coffee makers!  Oct 26, 2009
Simply put, it doesn't get any better than a Bunn coffee maker in my opinion. I've owned many different brands of coffee makers in my life time and this one is by far the best. Great tasting coffee in just 3 minutes, easy to clean and a 3 year warranty. The stainless steel insulated carafe keeps the coffee hot well past 2 hours. I will never buy another brand of coffee maker other that a Bunn!
