Defective Workmanship Jan 08, 2010 We received the shipment promptly but upon trying to install it, discovered that one side's hardware had not been machined properly and was useless. We returned the defective unit for a credit and purchased a Bemis seat from a local store. It was disappointing to see that the paint finish was blemished in multiple places. I know, its just a toilet seat, but hey if they can't make toilet seats right these days, we're in big trouble.
