Earthwise 20" electric mower Nov 13, 2009 I have used it for 2 seasons and it work just fine.
If I let the yard go an extra week it has some trouble getting through the grass.
But it does a good job, if I cut the grass every week...
electric mower Nov 05, 2009 It was easy to assemble and works great. I've done the lawn a couple of times with the mulcher blade and we're very satisfied with it. It's very easy to use.
mower beats gas Oct 24, 2009 used gas for 50 years not a big eco freak but this mower is great no oil gas smell or sore back from pulling and pulling.need a little practice with cord but great mower
Good value Oct 22, 2009 Great cut-very easy to assemble. For the value it is good for our typical neighborhood lawn. Need to make sure bag is emptied regularly. Bag works good. Bag design could be upgraded but doesn't take away from product working efficiently.
Earthwise Lawnmower after 1 Year Oct 21, 2009 After one summer of mowing I am very happy with the Earthwise 20" 12 Amp corded mower. It works as well as gas mowers costing 2-3 times as much in high grass. Use a 12-2 extension cord as recommended by many reviewers and don't stall it in high grass. One reviewer recommended using a 50' cord for the close grass and a 100' for the further away grass, but that is not necessary. It OK if you have them - don't go out and buy 2 cords - and want to go to the trouble of changing them, but does not help since the electricity lost in a 12-2 cord is so small. Using a corded mower is different, but is no problem for a small to medium lot unless there are a huge number of randomly placed trees/bushes that you have to maneuver around. The only complaint is that the covering on the handle is soft but not the best quality and will need to be replaced after another 2 years, but I paid $177 - including shipping - for the mower so quality per price is good.
