 This mower RAWKKKS! Nov 04, 2009
We have been wanting a cordless mower for a few years now... and this one just came on sale, so we snatched it up late in the season. We love it! It works as advertised... has good safety features, holds a charge for a long time, and ohhhhhh sooooo handy to just grab it and go... spilling gasoline is a thing of the past, no constant pulling on a rope to get it going, no smoke, loud engine noise, etc. I highly recommend this model, it is great.

I am a big fan of cordless mowers, and had a Black and Decker for year. But, I found the B&D to be pricey and when the battery finally faded on that mower I switched to the Earthwise. I've been underwhelmed.
The mower is underpowered and quickly loses its charge if it gets into tough grass. The bagging system clogs immediately and is useless for grass longer than 6 inches. The side discharge system also clogs easily.
I miss my Black and Decker cordless.

I purchased this mower from Amazon one year ago. The battery charge indicator lights on the machine did not work on the first one I received so I sent it back to Amazon for a replacement. I enjoyed the job that the mower did for almost exactly one year. However, today, after owning it for approximately 13 months, the mower literally fell apart and is unrepairable. The housing that holds the mower blade broke off from the mower deck. The only way to fix this would be a new mower deck. Certainly not a very durable machine.

The mower has a nice design and is relatively quiet. It is convenient in that it doesn't need gas, oil, a pull cord. But, it takes much longer than the manual stated to charge. Overall, it's a good deal.
No More Hassle of Fuss Jul 03, 2009
I love my new lawn mower. When you hear and start her the first time; my response was WOW! Smooth flowing with a nie even cut of the grass. Before I had to empty the grass bag at least three times. But with this machine I only had to change the grass bag once; and my grass was really thick. The no hassle of getting gas and pulling chords is over.
