 Don't bother trying this! Nov 21, 2009
The first one wouldn't get hot and one of the griddles wouldn't latch into to place on the second one.
Didn't waste my time or Amazon's trying a third one, nor will I ever buy anything else with Black and Decker's name on it.

No word of a lie, it's perfect. Just like my mother's that's still around after 30 years. Fluffy, perfect waffles. I am SO GLAD I spent the extra to get the machine I really wanted.

I recently received my latest copy of Cook's Illustrated, and they featured this in the section called " Best Small Appliances". My brother was soon to have his 70th birthday, and had asked for a waffle maker. I remembered the article in the magazine, and found the same product on Amazon.com. Not only did Amazon offer free shipping on the item, but it was several bucks cheaper thru Amazon! It was shipped right to my door in just a few days in perfect condition!! My brother has since told me it is the best waffle/grill maker he's ever had!!
I certainly would recommend this product, plus Amazon for having this item in stock and such punctual shipping!
