Hopkins 40955 Ford/GM OE Replacement Harness 7 RV Blade
I picked this up from Amazon a few weeks ago. A little pricey but cheaper then the local stores.
The unit is nicely made, and was a plug in replacement for my OEM connector on my Chevy 2500. I replaced the stock hitch and connector with a much higher rated aftermarket class V hitch.
The unit worked first try with my 7 plug trailer harness.
The only downside was the included bolts were too short too mount in a thicker backing (bumper in my case) so I had to source new allen head bolts. These bolts will rust when exposed to water so a light layer of paint is requried.
Overall, nice product, would be nice if it combined a cigar lighter outlet as well.
Doesn't fit Fords with OEM electric brake/tow control Apr 03, 2009
Nice looking product and will most likely do the job for many - but not on the F series Ford F250/350 Super Duty trucks with an integral electric brake/tow control. The OEM plug terminate at the engine fuse box, not a frame mounted connector

After entering the world of RV'ing, I replaced the OEM hitch which included a mount for the OEM 7-pin socket. I ordered this to replace the original 7-pin socket without having to mess with splicing wires. It worked great for our travel trailer!
As a bonus, now I don't need the 7-pin to 4-pin adapter when hooking to the utility trailer.
