Piece of Junk - Negative Stars Oct 19, 2009 This was a waste of time, effort, and money (although a full refund was received). Poor quality material, poor workmanship, and worse than simply cheap. The blade did not cut, the handle fit poorly, the spindle inside was not lathed to fit the grinder itself (too small) and it merely turned without really mashing / moving whatever was put inside it and there was no extrusion. Speaks poorly of quality control from Chinese manufacturers / suppliers.
cracked grinder Aug 18, 2009 The item we got had a cracked unit that holds all the parts in the grinder. therefore, we could not use the item and sent it back. This should have been caught by the quality control before being mailed. I would not recommend this item for anyone.

Universal 00, $4 at a rummage sale Jun 16, 2008 I bought mine for $4. The box says it grinds 2.5 pounds a minute. Tried it on raw chicken, including bone (raw food diet for cats). If chunks are under about one inch square, it grinds them just fine. Hopper is small, less than a cup capacity.
